What does a Play it Forward Scholarhip cover?
Scholarships provided by Seattle HappyFeet and the Play it Forward Initiative cover tuition and seasonal fees associated with our programs. A scholarship can cover monthly tuition fees at your child's school, seasonal fees for weekend leagues, or even HappyFeet @ the Park costs. We work with each family to ensure we can provide the best program that fit's their needs and schedule, at a cost that won't burden them.

What is the difference between a Full and Discount Scholarship?
We offer two types of scholarships, Full Scholarships and Discount Scholarships. A full scholarship covers the complete cost of the program you wish to join. It is valid for one weekend league season, or six months of HappyFeet class tuition at your child's school. At the end of the season or after the six month's, you must then reapply. Our Discount Scholarhips cover a portion of the cost of the program you wish to join. It is valid for one weekend league season, or twelve months of HappyFeet class tuition at your child's school. The discount scholarships, provide a "pay what you can" option to our families. Often times families can commitment some funds to their child's enrichment programs, but cannot cover the full cost. That is where we come in!
How do I qualify for a scholarship?
We encourage all families who wish to apply to apply. We do not ask for detailed financial information, but instead ask for you to self certify that our program would be a financial burden on you and your family. Once your short application is submitted we will respond with in one week. We provide scholarships on a first come first serve basis, based on the available funds. If we are unable to offer you a scholarship at that time, we will keep your information and reach out should circumstances change.
