Legends Soccer Club

Founded in 1989, the Legends Soccer Club currently registers 19 franchise locations. Initially based in suburban Kansas City area, and expanding over the last few years.
The hallmark of all Legends teams is superb individual skills. Development of the individual player is emphasized over team success. However, winning is a natural consequence of maximizing each individual player's potential. Players are given equal playing time in league games and are encouraged to pursue their highest individual goals. Participation in the Olympic Development Program is encouraged and supported by the coaching staff. Many years, the U-13 team has traveled to Europe to gain international tournament experience.
Legends teams stress indoor training and play during the winter months to allow for a year round playing experience. Uninterrupted training enhances the development of individual ball handling skills and helps build the confidence necessary to excel in game situations.
Since its inception, the Legends clubs have placed 5 times in the USYSA National Championship Final Four and won prestigious national tournaments such as the Pikes Peak and the USA Cup. Legends teams have won 14 National Indoor Championships. Often the leaders of their high school soccer teams, over 85% of Legends players have graduated to compete at the collegiate or professional level.
